The Daufuskie Island Marathon is held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, on Daufuskie Island, South Carolina. The event offers the following distances:

Course and logistics
The course is USATF certified. The full marathon is two laps of the 13.1 mile course. The route passes through Haig Point, Freeport, Church Road, and returns along the beach into Haig Point. Haig Point is a private residential community on Daufuskie Island.
Runners reach the island by ferry; a ferry pass is not included with race registration and must be purchased separately. Packet pick up is scheduled the day before the race at Palmetto Running Company in Hilton Head, SC. The event provides on-site amenities for registered runners, including morning coffee, cinnamon rolls, entertainment under a heated event canopy, post-race catered picnic food, and beverages. Finisher medals are awarded, and medal engraving is available at the after party. The event lists the Daufuskie Island Conservancy as a beneficiary and names Palmetto Running Company and Haig Point among its sponsors.
