ORRRC Dash For Cash 1 Mile
The event is a one mile running race held at Eastwood Metropark, 1385 Harshman Rd., Dayton, OH 45431. Registration is available to all through RunSignup prior to the race; online registration remains open until approximately 15 minutes before race start and can also be completed in person on race day. Hard copy registration sheets are available at the event. Minors may be registered on RunSignup by a parent or guardian or in person with a parent or guardian present to sign the waiver.
All participants must check in before the race and attach their assigned timing chip to one shoe. Timing chips are distributed at the check-in table identified by a green tablecloth. Organizers recommend arriving at least one hour before the race to allow time for parking, check-in, and warm-up.
Current ORRRC members run for free; the fee is waived automatically when an RSU membership profile is used or when membership card or proof is presented at the event. Non-members pay $10 for ages 15 and older, while ages 14 and under are free. Members who do not register through RunSignup must show proof of membership on race day to receive member fees.
Animals are not permitted at the event due to insurance coverage, except for service dogs that are clearly identified. Persons with other animals will be removed from the event and will not be issued a timing chip or appear in results or photos. Volunteer sign-up is managed via the event volunteer tab.
