ORRRC Dash For Cash 1 mile Race
The event is a one mile running race held at Eastwood Metropark, 1385 Harshman Rd, Dayton, OH 45431. Parking is available at the park. The distance for the running event is 1 mile.
Registration is available to all participants prior to and on race day through RunSignup and via hard copy registration sheets at the venue. Minors may be registered online by a parent or guardian or in person with a parent or guardian present to sign the waiver. Online registration remains open until shortly before the race and in-person registration is accepted on race day.
All participants must check in before the race and attach their assigned timing chip to one of their shoes. Timing chips are distributed at a table identified by a green tablecloth. Organizers recommend arriving at least one hour before the race to park, check in, and warm up.
Fee structure is as follows: current ORRRC members are not charged a fee when membership is indicated in registration or when proof of membership is shown at the event. Non-members pay $10 for ages 15 and older. Participants aged 14 and under have no fee. If membership is not indicated during online registration, proof of membership must be shown on race day to receive the member fee.
Animals are not permitted at the event due to insurance coverage, except for clearly identified service dogs. Persons with other animals will not be issued timing chips and will be removed from the event. Information about age groups and cash awards is provided under the race prizes information.
