Dash and Drink for Pink 5k and 1 Mile Run/Walk
Dash and Drink for Pink is a charity run and walk on October 2, 2026, in Albuquerque at Canteen Brewhouse, 2381 Aztec Rd NE. The event benefits Pink Warrior House; all race proceeds will be donated to that foundation, which provides emotional and social services to people in New Mexico who are battling breast cancer and their caregivers.
Event distances include:
- 5 km run or walk
- 1 mile run or walk
- Kids 12 and under option: 5 km or 1 mile
The 5 km course is an out-and-back along the North Diversion Channel Trail with an aid station at the halfway point. Professional timing is provided by Feral Adventures. Participants 21 and older may receive a pint of pink beer after the 5 km and 1 mile; root beer is offered for people under 21 and non-beer drinkers. Kids registrations do not include a shirt. Race packets are available Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, and a tie-dye station will be available to customize shirts for a $10 fee.
A post-race raffle will use bib numbers as raffle numbers; additional raffle tickets can be purchased the day of the event and proceeds go to Pink Warrior House. Additional food and beer will be available for purchase at the brewery. The event is family and pet friendly. Anyone drinking alcohol must be 21 and under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in the beer garden and brewery.
