Dartford Bridge 10 km
The Dartford Bridge event features a measured 10 km road race run over two laps around both lakes. Organizers added a 5 km option this year and there is a separate children's fun run that follows a new route once around the south lake on the gravel pavement. The fun run entry fee is £4 and all children receive a bespoke finishing medal.
Facilities include free parking at Crosswater Lake View House on Rennie Drive in Dartford, with registration located about 400 m from the car park. Toilets and showers are available roughly 150 m away next to the security office. There is bike racking beside registration and a bag drop area to the left of registration. Water stations are provided as runners begin the second lap and at the finish.
Safety measures are highlighted: participants are asked to keep off the Fast Track bus lane at all times, to listen to marshals when crossing the bus lane, and not to wear headphones. The course is checked annually and confirmed as a 10 km. Due to low entry numbers in the recent edition, trophies will be awarded only in specified categories: 1st to 3rd overall female and male, and first in the 40+, 50+, 60+ female and male categories, plus 1st 70+ male.
