DART FOR ART
DART FOR ART is scheduled for July 14, 2026 in downtown Ann Arbor. The event area centers on North University and Ingalls Mall and the course finishes on Liberty at Thompson Street after a loop around The Diag and a sprint down State Street.
The event program includes several running events and a short kids route:
- 500 m Kids Dash for children ages 12 and under, no fee
- 1 mile Dart For Art Community
- 1 mile Dart For Art Featured
Participants are placed in seeded waves based on estimated finish time. Wave assignments are subject to change based on registration numbers.
The Kids Dash runs from the finish line toward Maynard Street and back and is open to children 12 and under at no cost. The Community one mile is open to a broad field of participants and includes placement based on estimated finish time. The Featured one mile is designated for competitive runners and requires a qualifying expected one mile time.
The event supports the Ann Arbor Street Fair, the Original, a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Proceeds help fund free community arts education programming. The finish line is located close to the Paint the Town Block pARTy. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
