Dart for Art - Ann Arbor Mile
Dart for Art is a community running event held in downtown Ann Arbor on July 14, 2026. The event uses a point to point course that begins at Ingalls Mall and North University, loops around The Diag, continues down State Street, and finishes on Liberty at Thompson Street. The finish area is adjacent to The Paint the Town Block pARTy, which follows the race.
The event supports the Ann Arbor Street Fair, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and helps fund free community arts education programming. Participants are placed in waves based on estimated finish time to group runners and walkers by expected pace.

Strollers are permitted in the Community/Open race, which is seeded by estimated finish time. The Featured 1-mile event is reserved for runners with an expected finish time of 7:30 or faster.
