Darley Moor August Sprint Duathlon 2026
This is a draft legal, traffic free duathlon held on the Darley Moor race circuit. The event serves as a qualifier for the British Triathlon GB Age-Group Team in the sprint distance. Athletes who wish to qualify must register their intent to qualify for championships by 5pm on the Friday before the qualifying race and must also enter the qualifying race.
The course uses the circuit perimeter for running and the race circuit itself for the bike sections. Terrain is described as flat, multi laps, road and track. Electronic chip timing is used; competitors collect an electronic race chip at registration when they collect their race number and fitting instructions are provided.
Venue facilities include on-site parking, refreshments and toilets. Free overnight camping is available on Saturday. Entry is limited to 390 competitors and minimum age is 15 on 31 December. Prize awards are given to first place in each five year age band for male and female categories.
