Darley Moor May Duathlon
The Darley Moor May Duathlon takes place at the Darley Moor Race Circuit in Wyaston. The event is held entirely within a traffic-free race track, providing a controlled environment for multi-sport competition. Participation is open to all ability levels, and the only equipment required is a roadworthy bicycle, a helmet, and running shoes.
The competition features six distinct races categorized by age groups. These include junior events, which are frequently part of regional race series, and a senior category. Each race is restricted to 100 participants and utilizes chip timing to record official results. While membership in a triathlon club or British Triathlon is not mandatory, non-members are required to obtain a Race Pass for the event.
Available distances include:
- Tristart (Age 8): 400m run, 1.5km bike, 200m run
- Tristar1 (Ages 9-10): 1.2km run, 4km bike, 400m run
