About the race
Dark Horse 24 & 48 Hour Ultra Run takes place at the Stable View Equestrian Facility in Aiken, South Carolina, February 27–March 1, 2026. The event offers 24-hour solo, 48-hour solo, and 48-hour team relay (2–4 runners) on a beautifully maintained 4-mile loop, designed for steady pacing, fueling, and supportive crew involvement. The atmosphere centers on the Yeti trail-running community—loud, welcoming, and full of high-energy cheer with glow sticks and camaraderie at every lap.
Zen Arcade Timing provides chip timing, live tracking, and lap counts. Finisher buckles are awarded at 100K, 100 miles, and 150 miles, with onsite lodging and a onsite bistro/pub enhancing the weekend experience. Awards recognize top performers.
