Darien Dash
The Darien Dash is the 25th annual running event held at the Darien Swim & Recreation Club in Darien, Illinois. The event includes multiple race distances and a free kids fun run. Registered, paid runners receive a t-shirt and a complimentary swag bag. Awards are given to the top three finishers in each of the main races and award ceremonies take place at the end of each race. The race course closes just prior to the final award ceremony. No refunds are given and in the case of inclement weather the race may be delayed to a date to be announced.

- 10k (6.2 miles)
- 5k (3.1 miles)
- 1 Mile (1 mile)
- Kids Fun Run (free, ages 5 and under)
Advance registration fees listed in event information are $40 for the 5k, $50 for the 10k, and $30 for the 1 Mile; higher race day fees are noted for each distance in the event schedule. The event list states that certain items are prohibited on the course, including pets, bicycles, scooters, in-line skates, roller skates and other wheeled items. Participants with baby strollers or joggers are required to start at the rear of any race start. Parking is available at the DSRC lot and on surrounding streets.
