Danville Half Marathon, presented by URW Community Federal Credit Union
The Danville Half Marathon is a 13.1 Miles running event that begins at 215 Main St., Danville, VA 24541. The course is an out-and-back route that starts and finishes on the MLK Bridge and follows the mostly flat, paved Riverwalk Trail along the Dan River.
This event is chip timed. All awards are given based on gun time. The course time limit is 3.5 hours, which corresponds to a 16:00 minute per mile pace. Timing services are provided by Blue Ridge Timing, Lynchburg, Virginia.
Registration details note that participants should register by 6:00pm on Oct. 4 to guarantee shirt size; some additional shirts will be ordered. There is no day-of-race registration.
