17th Annual BRIDGE2BRIDGE
The 17th Annual BRIDGE2BRIDGE takes place on April 11, 2026 in Danville, Virginia, with the Danville Community Market listed as the event location. The program includes multiple in person and virtual race options and a kids fun run.

Organizers named for the event include the Danville‑Pittsylvania Cancer Association, Visit SoSi, the Danville Running and Fitness Club, and Danville Parks & Recreation. Since inception, the event has raised over $1,140,000 to benefit cancer patients in Danville and Pittsylvania County. In 2025 more than 1,000 people participated.
Wheelchair participants use racing chairs or similar devices and are registered with both the athlete and a pusher. Wheelchair participant entries receive bibs, packets, and t shirts if registered by the shirt deadline, and finishers receive medals. Wheelchair participants are not eligible for overall, age group, or team awards.
Electronic timing is used and results are published after the event. Packet pickup is held at Danville Community Market on the day before and on race day. A guaranteed event shirt deadline is Monday March 23, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
