The 17th Annual BRIDGE2BRIDGE event in Danville takes place at the Danville Community Market. This community event raises funds for the Danville-Pittsylvania Cancer Association, a non-profit organization that assists local cancer patients with medical expenses, travel reimbursement, and various supplies. The event has reached over 1,000 annual participants and has generated over $1,140,000 since its inception.

- 0.5 Miles Kids Fun Run for ages 10 and under.
- 5K Run 3.1 mile course for runners.
- 5K Walk 3.1 mile timed course for walkers.

The event includes dedicated divisions for wheelchair participants in the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon distances. These categories are designed for participants being pushed in appropriate strollers equipped with hand brakes, tethers, and suitable tires. Both the person being pushed and the pusher must be registered. For those unable to attend in person, virtual options are available for the 5K and 10K distances.
