Dandelion Dash and Mushroom Mile
The Dandelion Dash and Mushroom Mile is a community trail event held on the trails of The Hartsbrook School campus at 193 Bay Road, Hadley, MA 01035. The event is open to the public and includes the following distances:
- Dandelion Dash 5K
- Mushroom Mile 1 mile
Proceeds support The Hartsbrook School's programming, including Land Stewardship. Land Stewardship integrates animal husbandry, climate education, sustainable agriculture and beekeeping practices across the curriculum for grades 1-12.
The event is held rain or shine. Participants should plan for mud and uneven terrain.
A virtual Distance Dash option is available. Virtual participants may run 5K or more from any location to earn race standing based on miles run over time.
Registrants receive a T-shirt, a bib with digital timing, a participation medal, and snacks and beverages at the finish line. On-site parking is available at no extra fee. Race-day registration is available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
