About the race
Dancing for Memories is a first annual community 5K run and 1 Mile walk held in the Berlin Woods neighborhood on Evanine Drive in Berlin, New Jersey, on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
The event offers two distance options:
- 5K Run
- 1 Mile Walk
Activities scheduled at the event include live music, food and beverage trucks, an ice cream truck (Mr Softee), giveaways, photo opportunities, and prizes for top runners. The program includes a Memory Lane tribute to honor loved ones affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia. The event is presented as family friendly and lists features intended for participants and spectators of all ages.
T-shirt and running bib are included with registration; T-shirts are available while supplies last. All proceeds support Dancing for Memories, a nonprofit organization focused on empowering and supporting caregivers of people with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
