The Dance the Winter Blues Away event is scheduled for Saturday, January 24, 2026, in Savannah, Georgia (11 Gateway Blvd S Suite 54, 31419). The event offers the following distances:

Entry fees listed are $30 for the 5k and 10k, and $10 for the kids 1/2 mile. Registration closes January 22, 2026. Bib and packet pickup is available at Howe 2 Run on the Friday before the race, with last-minute pickup at the race-day check-in table. The kids fun run takes place before the 5k and 10k.
Beneficiaries and race-day activities
The event supports Two Black Dogs Foundation and Life Moves Dance Company. Two Black Dogs Foundation, founded in 2022, is a 501(c)(3) Georgia licensed rescue that runs spay/neuter assistance, TNR for community cats, a food pantry, and low-cost vaccines and microchipping, and has found homes for over 100 animals. Life Moves Dance Company currently fields 16 local dancers aged 8 to 17 and attends conventions and competitions in Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina.
Race-day activities include a basket raffle and a silent auction, race shirts, and prizes for best dance-inspired costumes. The silent auction and raffle close immediately after the race and winners will be contacted for prize pickup. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
