Damillion's Run For HOPE

Damillion's Run For HOPE is an annual event focused on suicide prevention and awareness. It is presented as the seventh edition and was established after a family member died by suicide on October 14, 2019. The event aims to share that story and to raise awareness and support for mental health in communities.

The event offers two participation formats in September 2026: an in-person 5K held on September 27, 2026 at Sanborn Park, 2031 28th Ave, Greeley, CO 80634, and a virtual 5K that can be completed anytime during the month of September. Registration for both formats is free, and donations are accepted through the race organizers.

The organizer notes past community support and frames the event as a way to provide outreach and connection for people who may be struggling with mental health or thoughts of suicide. Participants may report progress through the registration portal. Social sharing was used in prior years to broaden reach; donations have been accepted to support the event's goals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
