Event overview

The Dalgety Bay 10K is a community race organised by Forth Bridges. Proceeds will go towards upgrading the Fife Coastal Path in the race area and to other charities and good causes. The race starts and finishes at Dalgety Bay Sailing Club, off The Wynd, Dalgety Bay KY11 9SJ. The race is limited to 600 entries and the entry fee is £20. Entries are non-refundable and not transferable. Entrants must be aged 16 or over on the day. There will be no entries accepted on the day and a waiting list closes on the Tuesday before the race.

Entry and registration

Registration for the 10K race will be open between 9.30am and 10.45am on race day. Race numbers must be collected on the day and medical details and emergency contacts must be filled in on the back of the race number. Anyone using a number not allocated to them will be disqualified.

Course, safety and facilities

The route is multi-terrain, including smooth trails, some tarmac and woodland, and may be altered due to planned maintenance. Dogs and pushchairs are not allowed. Markers will be placed at kilometre intervals. There will be two water stations on the course. Toilet facilities are provided at the Sailing Club only. A sweeper will follow the course and two first-aid teams will be available at the start/finish area and at Braefoot woods. A two hour cut off will apply for the 10K.
