The DalesRunner 40 is a challenging 42km trail race held in Semerwater, Raydale, North Yorkshire, serving as the final and longest event in the DalesRunner series. The course features over 3,000ft of ascent with a steady 12km climb, traversing hard-packed trails including a Roman road, grassy trods, and some road sections. Runners experience scenic views over Buckden Pike, the Dales Way along the River Wharfe, and Weather Fell before a fast descent to the finish by Semerwater lake.
