Daisy Dash: 49th annual
Daisy Dash is scheduled for October 18, 2026 in the City of Sunset Valley. The event features timed road races and a youth running program with a shared start and finish at Daisy Dash Field in southwest Austin.
The course is a flat loop through Sunset Valley. 5K participants complete one loop and 10K participants complete two loops. The Marathon Kids Dash is an out-and-back along Ernest Robles using the same start and finish area. A finisher’s party follows the race.
The event traces its origins to a women only race and is now open to all. For 2026 the Daisy Dash names The Girls Movement, a Marathon Kids program, as its beneficiary. Proceeds support Marathon Kids, an evidence based program that helps children set and reach running goals.
Practical details include packet pickup at the Academy on Brodie Lane on the Saturday before the race and no race day packet pickup. Parking is available in the Tony Burger Center lot where space is not on the racecourse; additional shopping center lots are nearby about one third to one half mile from the start area.
