Daffodil Planting Dash
The Daffodil Planting Dash is the first annual community event in Portland, Ontario, scheduled for November 1, 2026. The event concludes with a community daffodil planting.
Two race options are offered:
- 5 km professionally chip-timed race
- 2 km family run
The 5 km is chip-timed, and both courses welcome strollers, walkers, joggers, and runners. The route is described as scenic and includes course markers for direction and distance, volunteers at turns and intersections, water stations, and First-Aid services.
Included for participants are race timing, a finishing medal, a loot bag, a personalized race bib, recovery snacks and drinks, bag check, and a group warm-up or stretch. After the race, finishers may present their medal at select local shops for race-day discounts and special offers.
The description focuses on event format, participant services, and course features without stating start or finish times. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
