Daffodil Planting Dash
The Daffodil Planting Dash is listed as the first annual event in Portland, Ontario, taking place on November 1, 2026. The event combines competitive timing with a family-oriented run within the local community.
Two race options are offered:
- 5K professionally chip-timed race
- 2K family run
The event materials note scenic routes and finisher medals. Included items and services are a loot bag, personalized race bib, recovery snacks and drinks, bag check, and a group warm-up/stretch. Strollers, walkers, joggers and runners are welcome on both courses.
Course features include directional and distance markers, volunteers at turns and intersections, water stations and first-aid services. The event concludes with a community daffodil planting.
