Event

The CXB 5k takes place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in Virginia Beach, VA 23455. The main event is a 3.1 mile run through the tree-lined streets of the Chic's Beach neighborhood along the Chesapeake Bay. The event listing also includes "Lil Chic's Sprint" as a separate race.

Race details

The first 450 registered runners receive an event T-shirt and a finisher's medal; T-shirt sizes are allocated to those first 450 registrants. Participants who show their bib receive a free beer after the race. Event proceeds benefit the Chesapeake Beach Civic League. Organizers note the race is expected to sell out by June 1 and that walk-up registrations will not be available on race day. A course map is available via MapMyRun.
