The event takes place on June 6, 2026 at 2456 Pleasure House Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23455, United States. The 5K course runs through the tree lined streets of the Chic's Beach neighborhood along the Chesapeake Bay.

Registration and entry fees are provided by the organizer. The 5K registration opens December 31, 2025 and closes April 30, 2026 with a listed fee of $40.00. The Lil Chic's Sprint registration opens December 31, 2025 and closes June 5, 2026 with a listed fee of $25.00. The first 450 registered entrants receive an event T-shirt and a finisher's medal. Participants who present their bib after the race receive a complimentary beer. Event proceeds benefit the Chesapeake Beach Civic League.
The 5K is chip timed. Overall awards for first through third are based on gun time following USATF rules. Age group awards are scored using chip time. Award categories include Open 5K top three men and women, Masters 5K top three men and women ages 40 and over, and Youth 5K top male and female ages 13 and under. Double dipping of awards is not permitted.
For safety, dogs are not permitted on the race course but may attend the post race party. Runners should line up with faster runners toward the front and slower runners and walkers toward the back. Runners with strollers should line up behind runners without strollers. Children in strollers should not wear a bib and are not eligible for age division awards. A shuttle is offered from Chic's Beach Shopping Center. The event is expected to sell out by June 1 and walk up registrations will not be available on race day.
