CV Days Classic
The CV Days Classic is a running and walking event held in Gardnerville, Nevada. This event serves as the first installment of the "We Run This Town" series and is organized as a fundraiser for Main Street Gardnerville, a non-profit dedicated to the revitalization and historic preservation of the downtown area.
The course takes participants through the streets of Gardnerville, following the official parade route shortly before the community festivities begin. The event proceeds regardless of weather conditions, occurring rain or shine.

Participants are grouped at the starting line based on their mode of travel to ensure a clear path for all. The front of the pack is reserved for runners, while walkers are positioned in the middle. Individuals with strollers or leashed dogs are placed at the back of the starting group.
Leashed dogs are permitted to participate provided they are vaccinated and comfortable around children and other animals. All finishers receive running medals, and trophies are awarded to the first, second, and third-place finishers. The event also features a costume element, where participants are encouraged to dress according to the annual parade theme. The race starts and finishes at Heritage Park on the Ezell Street side.
