Cutters 5K
The Cutters 5K is an annual athletic event held in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, organized by Hope Enterprises in association with the Williamsport Crosscutters. The event serves as a fundraiser for the Hope Foundation, with all proceeds directed toward programs that support and enhance the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities. Participants have the option to join several different event categories:
- 5K Run (3.1 miles)
- 5K Walk (3.1 miles)
- Virtual 5K
The course for the physical race starts in front of the Journey Bank Ballpark. Participants follow the designated route through the local area, eventually entering the stadium to complete the course inside the venue.
Registration for the event is open in advance, with a specific period for early sign-ups followed by a closing date a few days before the race. On the day of the event, packet pick-up is located at the Journey Bank Ballpark parking area. For those unable to attend in person, the virtual option allows for participation from other locations.
