Curwood Festival Run : Shiawassee Family YMCA
The Shiawassee Family YMCA organizes an annual Curwood Festival Run on June 6, 2026 in Owosso, Michigan. The event includes multiple distance options and a separate Fun Run. The course follows the river trail into Corunna, runs through side streets, and returns along the trail. The 10K route turns around at McCurdy Park and the 5K route turns behind the car wash. Multiple water stops are located along the route. The start and finish are just east of Huntington Bank on Jerome Avenue, behind the large parking lot.

Registration details are specified by date and fee: pre-registration through May 30 includes a shirt and a stated fee, late registration through June 5 has a higher fee with no shirt guarantee, and the Fun Run has a lower fee with a t-shirt if registered by May 30. Registration closes at 11:59 pm on June 5; there will be no race day registration.
Packet pickup is available early on Friday, June 5 at the Shiawassee Family YMCA, 515 West Main Street, Owosso, and race day pickup is at the race site. The organizer requests sponsors and volunteers for the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
