Event overview
The Curwood Festival Run takes place on Saturday, June 6, 2026 in Owosso, Michigan. It is the 49th annual Shiawassee Family YMCA Curwood Festival Run. The event includes the following races:
- Half Marathon
- 10K Run
- 5K Run
- 5K Walk
- Fun Run (open to ages 18 and under)
The course will have multiple water stops and the races will be chip timed. Awards are given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each gender and age category, plus a Top Male Overall and Top Female Overall for each race.
Registration and logistics
Pre-registration until May 30 costs $45 for the main races; late registration from May 31 to June 5 costs $50 and may not include a shirt. The Fun Run fee is $15 and includes a t-shirt when registered by May 30. Registration closes at 11:59 pm on June 5; there is no race day registration.
Early packet pickup is on Friday, June 5 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Shiawassee Family YMCA, 515 West Main Street, Owosso. Race day packet pickup begins at the race site.
