The 49th annual Shiawassee Family YMCA Curwood Festival Run takes place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in Owosso, Michigan (350 Jerome Ave., Owosso, MI 48867). The event includes the following race distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10K Run
- 5K Run
- 5K Walk
- Fun Run (open to ages 18 and under)
The races are chip timed. Multiple water stops are placed along the routes. Awards are given 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each gender and age category, plus Top Male Overall and Top Female Overall for each race. Pets and strollers are not allowed.
Registration and logistics
Pre-registration pricing through May 30 is listed at $45 for the main races; late registration from May 31 to June 5 is listed at $50 with no shirt guarantee. The Fun Run fee is listed at $15 and includes a t-shirt when registered by May 30 (no shirt guarantee after that date). Registration closes on June 5; there will be no race day registration. Early packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, June 5 at the Shiawassee Family YMCA, 515 West Main Street, Owosso. Race day packet pickup begins at the race site.
