Curwood Festival Run
The Shiawassee Family YMCA organizes the annual Curwood Festival Run in Owosso, Michigan. The event takes place on June 6, 2026 and offers multiple race distances with course routes provided for each distance. The start and finish are located just east of Huntington Bank on Jerome Avenue, behind the large parking lot.

- 5K Run
- 5K Walk
- Fun Run
Pre-registration through May 30, 2026 is priced at $45 and includes a shirt for the main races. Late registration from May 31 to June 5 is $50 with no guarantee of a shirt. The Fun Run fee is $15 and includes a t-shirt when registered by May 30. Registration closes at 11:59 pm on June 5; there is no race day registration available.
Packet pickup is available early on Friday, June 5 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Shiawassee Family YMCA, 515 West Main Street, Owosso. Race day packet pickup begins at the race site. Multiple water stops are provided along the course. The event policy does not allow dogs or strollers. Organizers list sponsors and note opportunities for volunteers and race sponsors.
