Cupid's Chase 5K - Overview
Cupid's Chase 5K is a charity road race held on February 14, 2026. The event presents a 5K run/walk in three New York City boroughs - Queens, Brooklyn and Manhattan - on the same date. It is open to runners, walkers, participants with baby strollers or wheelchairs, and sponsors. The event is held rain or shine and registration fees are non-refundable. To guarantee an event shirt, registration must be completed by January 1, 2026; shirts, finisher medals and drawstring bags are available while supplies last.
Locations and courses
Each borough hosts its own certified course with professional timing. The Queens location is in Flushing Meadows Park (between Grand Central Parkway and Van Wyck Expressway). The Brooklyn location is in Prospect Park at the Peristyle (Park Side Ave & Parade Pl). The Manhattan location is on Randall's Island (Field #10, Icahn Stadium, 130 Central Rd). USATF certification is noted for the courses.
Awards, sponsors and beneficiary
Trophies are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age-group medals are awarded to overall male and female finishers across 14 divisions from 12 & under through 70 & over. Sponsorship packages are offered at multiple levels. Proceeds benefit Community Options, Inc., a nonprofit that provides housing and employment services for people with disabilities.
