Cupid's Chase 5K NYC
Cupid's Chase is a series of 5K events held at three New York locations on the same date: Queens, Brooklyn and Manhattan. The event raises funds for Community Options, Inc., an organization that supports people with disabilities. Registration is not yet open.
Event amenities include live online, text and email results, free finish line photos and same-day video, personalized bibs for those who register at least three weeks in advance, limited edition shirts available first come first served on race day for those not registered by January 1, finisher medals while supplies last, and participant drawstring bags while supplies last.
Awards are given to the top three overall men and women with trophies and to the top finisher in multiple male and female age groups: 12 and under, 13 to 15, 16 to 19, 20 to 24, 25 to 29, 30 to 34, 35 to 39, 40 to 44, 45 to 49, 50 to 54, 55 to 59, 60 to 64, 65 to 69 and 70 plus.
Course locations are Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, Prospect Park in Brooklyn and Randall's Island Field 10 near Icahn Stadium in Manhattan. The Brooklyn course at Prospect Park is USATF certified. Bib pickup is handled in person at the event; registering in advance allows for a personalized bib. Parking and public transportation options vary by site, including parking at the Queens Museum area, street parking on Parkside Avenue in Brooklyn, and parking at Icahn Stadium in Manhattan.
