Cupid's Chase 5K Rutherford
Cupid's Chase 5K Rutherford is scheduled for February 14, 2026, at Memorial Park in Rutherford, New Jersey. The event is the 18th annual running in a national race series that commemorates the founding of Community Options, a nonprofit that provides housing and employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
The main competition is an organized 5K that is certified and uses professional timing, with results posted immediately after the race. The event is described as fully accessible and pet-friendly; all pets must remain leashed. Participants may include runners, walkers, people using baby strollers or wheelchairs, and event sponsors.
Giveaways include a Cupid's Chase finisher medal and a drawstring bag while supplies last. To guarantee a race shirt, registrations must be completed by January 1, 2026; after that date, shirts are available while supplies last. Trophies will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age-group medals will be presented to the overall male and female finishers in each of these 14 groups: 12 & under, 13–15, 16–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69 and 70 & over.
Sponsorship opportunities are offered in multiple tiers, including Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Exhibitor Table, with a sponsorship price range indicated between $500 and $10,000.
