Cupid's Chase 5K Rutherford takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Memorial Park, 2 Darwin Avenue, Rutherford, NJ 07070. It is the 18th annual event in a national race series that marks Community Options’ founding. The race welcomes runners, walkers, participants with baby strollers or wheelchairs, and sponsors. Race details
The event is a certified 5K with professional timing and results posted immediately after the race. The event is fully accessible and pet-friendly; all pets must remain leashed. Registration guarantees a Cupid's Chase shirt for entries completed by January 1, 2026; after that date shirts are available while supplies last. Giveaways include a finisher medal and drawstring bag while supplies last. Trophies are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age group medals are awarded to the overall male and female finishers in 14 age groups: 12 & under, 13–15, 16–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69 and 70 & over. The event proceeds rain or shine and registration fees are non-refundable. Sponsorship opportunities range from $500 to $10,000 with categories including Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Exhibitor Table.
