Event Overview

The Cupid's Chase 5k is a run and walk event taking place on Saturday, February 14, 2026. This will be its 13th annual edition. The event starts and finishes at the Lakeside Inn on 595 North Ave in Wakefield, Massachusetts.

Course Details

The route is a flat, fast 5 km loop around Lake Quannapowitt. A course map is available for viewing online.

Registration and Logistics

The base registration fee is $35, with the price increasing after February 7, 2026. Online registration closes on Thursday, February 12, at noon. There are multiple opportunities for packet pickup: on the Friday before the race at Marathon Sports in Reading from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, or on race morning at the Lakeside Inn from 8:00 to 9:45 AM. Registration is also available on race day.

A race shirt is guaranteed for those who register by a specified deadline, which was extended to January 28, 2026.

Charity and Post-Race

All proceeds from the event are donated directly to Neurofibromatosis Northeast. After the race, there is a celebration sponsored by Sam Adams, and beer is included with registration for all participants and volunteers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
