Cumberland County Parks & Rec Day 5K
This inaugural community event takes place on May 30, 2026, at the Cumberland County Fairgrounds in Millville, New Jersey (3301 Carmel Rd, 08332). The event combines a road running program with a larger Parks and Recreation Day that showcases local sports groups, hobby clubs, fitness instructors, and outdoor activities.

The 5K uses a scenic course through the fairgrounds. The fairgrounds area will feature food trucks, bounce houses, vendors, and other family friendly activities associated with the Parks and Recreation Day. Organizers request registrations for the kids run to obtain an accurate count of participants.
Registration fees listed for the main events include a $35 fee for the 5K and no fee for the kids 1 mile run. Everyone who registers for the 5K will receive a shirt and a finisher medal. Awards include the top three male and female overall finishers and age group awards for under 15, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 plus categories.
