Event Overview

The Cumberland County Parks & Rec Day 5K takes place on Saturday, May 30, 2026. It is the first event of its kind, marking the inaugural Cumberland County Parks & Rec Day.

The event is held at the Cumberland County Fairgrounds in Millville, New Jersey. The 5K course goes through the fairgrounds.

Two events are offered:

1 mile Fun Run/Walk

Registration for the 5K includes a shirt and a finisher medal for all participants. The 1 mile Fun Run/Walk is a free event offered at noon.

Awards and Activities

Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers in the 5K. Age group awards are also presented for categories from under 15 to 70+. The Parks & Rec Day celebration includes post-race festivities at the fairgrounds with food trucks, bounce houses, vendors, and other family-friendly activities.
