CTHS Music on the Lake 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run

The event takes place on January 24, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas, at 3100 NW College Drive (Chisholm Trail High School). It is organized as two running events and includes live music by the Ranger Regiment band and finish-line refreshments.

1 Mile Fun Run
5K Timed Run

Course, registration, and included items

Both distances begin and end in Chisholm Trail High School's Ranger Stadium. The 1 Mile Fun Run is an untimed run from the stadium to the band hall. The 5K is a timed race that leaves the stadium, passes the band hall and school, and continues on the Marine Creek Lake trail.

Registration includes a run-themed long sleeve t-shirt (shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after January 5), photos by the Ranger Regiment photographers, and hot chocolate and other refreshments at the finish line. Published entry fees are $20 for the 1 Mile Fun Run and $40 for the 5K Timed Run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
