About the race
CTHS Music on the Lake 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run takes place at Chisholm Trail High School in Fort Worth, Texas on January 30, 2027. Both courses begin and end in the school’s Ranger Stadium and use nearby lake trails.
Distances:
- 1 Mile Fun Run: untimed run to the lake trailhead.
- 5K Timed Run: measured 3.1 mile course on the lake trail.
The 1 Mile Fun Run departs the stadium and follows a path to the lake trailhead. The 5K leaves the stadium, passes the band hall and school, and continues on the Marine Creek Lake trail before returning to the stadium.
Registration includes a run-themed t-shirt, live music provided by the Ranger Regiment band, event photography by Ranger Regiment photographers, and hot chocolate and other refreshments at the finish line. Entry fees listed by the organizer are $20 for the 1 Mile Fun Run and $40 for the 5K Timed Run.
