Event

The Hot Lips Run takes place on Sunday 15 February 2026 at Crystal Palace Park, Thicket Road, London SE20 8DS. The event is a timed run with a 7 hour time limit. Entry fees listed are £37.95 (affiliated) and £39.95 (unaffiliated). Age limit is 18 years and above. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and will adhere to UK Athletics rules. All participants receive a physical medal or memento.

Course and logistics

The course uses a 2.65 km (1.65 mile) lap around Crystal Palace Park. Participants choose how many laps to complete. The minimum recorded distance is 3.30 miles (two laps). Surface is off road trail with tarmac and gravel pathways. The route has gentle undulations and some steep sections that rise sharply.

Distances and elevation gains:

  • 3.30 mi - 2 laps, at least 5 km, 302 ft elevation gain
  • 6.60 mi - 4 laps, at least 10 km, 604 ft elevation gain
  • 13.20 mi - 8 laps, half marathon, 1,208 ft elevation gain
  • 26.40 mi - 16 laps, marathon, 2,416 ft elevation gain
  • 28.05+ mi - 17+ laps, ultra, 2,567+ ft elevation gain

Entries are limited. The park is a short walk from Crystal Palace Station or Penge West Station. Several bus routes serve the area. Parking is available in the park, is limited, and is chargeable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
