Event overview
The Phoenix Running Crystal Palace Bobble Wobble Run takes place on Sunday 07 December 2025 at Crystal Palace Park, Thicket Road, London SE20 8DS. The organiser describes this as a timed event using a 2.65 km (1.65 mile) lap. Participants may complete as many laps as they wish within a 7 hour time limit. Age limit is 18 years and above. Course and distances
The course is off-road trail on tarmac and gravel pathways, with gentle undulations and some steep sections. The minimum distance is 3.30 miles. Distances by laps and elevation gain:
- 2 laps - 3.30 miles (at least 5 km), 302 ft elevation
- 4 laps - 6.60 miles (at least 10 km), 604 ft elevation
- 8 laps - 13.20 miles (half marathon), 1208 ft elevation
- 16 laps - 26.40 miles (marathon), 2416 ft elevation
- 17+ laps - 28.05 miles (ultra, 45.14 km plus), 2567 ft plus elevation
The course will be well marked. Road or trail shoes are recommended depending on weather.
Logistics
Parking is available inside the park but is limited and chargeable; the organiser advises sustainable travel. The park is a short walk from Crystal Palace Station or Penge West Station and is served by multiple local bus routes. Entries are limited.
