Crystal Coast Cancer Rehab Center 5K Run & 1 Mile Cancer Survivor Walk
The Crystal Coast Cancer Rehab Center 5K Run and 1 Mile Cancer Survivor Walk is the sixth annual event held in downtown Beaufort at John Newton Park, 500 Front Street. The event includes a community 5K run and a one-mile walk for cancer survivors and supporters.
All race proceeds benefit Crystal Coast Cancer Rehab Center, a local non-profit that provides an oncology-specific exercise training program for cancer survivors. The event is open to participants of any age or experience.

Packet pick-up is available at the Crystal Coast Cancer Rehab Center location in Morehead City during regular business hours, with extended pick-up on the Thursday and Friday before the event. Race day packet pick-up is available at John Newton Memorial Park. Participants may use downtown parking; town information notes no charge for street parking in the off-season. Handicap parking is available beside John G. Newton Park, adjacent to the start and finish. Organizers note a road closure on the race course during the event period.
