5k Beer Run - Crux Fermentation Project
The Crux Fermentation Project 5K is a recreational running and walking event held in Bend, Oregon. As part of the 2026 Oregon Brewery Running Series, the event features a course that begins and ends at the Crux Fermentation Project taproom. Participants follow a 5k-ish route designed to showcase the surrounding scenery before returning to the brewery.
The event is open to all ages and accommodates various activity levels, including running, walking, and jogging. This is an un-timed fun run focused on outdoor activity rather than competition. Registration is limited based on the capacity of the host venue.
Participants receive several items as part of their entry:
- One craft beverage from Crux Fermentation Project at the finish line.
- A seasonal collector's item of swag from the Brewery Running Series.
- Eligibility for door prizes, which may include brewery merchandise or beer.
A portion of the proceeds from the event is donated to local nonprofit organizations. For this specific run, 10% of the proceeds support The Giving Plate. Since the series began, the organization has raised over $500,000 for various community groups.
The event location is situated at 50 Southwest Division Street in Bend. Attendees can access the site via personal vehicle, bicycle, or walking. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
