Crusader Booster Club 5k and 1 Mile Fun Walk/Run
This event is a beach out and back running event held in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey on August 22, 2026. The course places runners on packed sand. Proceeds benefit Wildwood Catholic Academy Athletics.
Two distances are offered:
- 3.1 miles 5k on packed sand, chip timed by DelmoPro using the Mylaps Bibtag system.
- 1 mile Fun Run/Walk on packed sand, non timed.
The 5k awards include overall male and female, master’s male and female, and top three finishers in multiple age groups (13 and under; 14–18; 19–29; 30–39; 40–49; 50–59; 60–69; 70 and over). The event provides refreshments and holds an award ceremony after the race. Registration fees listed for the events are $35 for the 5k and $30 for the 1 mile Fun Run/Walk.
