Course and logistics
The main course starts and finishes at Crozet Park festival grounds and continues east on the Crozet trail. Trails are described as rustic with roots, rocks, and ruts. The 10K route loops by Lickinghole basin, crosses Lickinghole creek, and goes out by Chesterfield Land before returning. The Family Fun Run follows a shorter extension past the dog park and a recent trail addition of about 0.75 mile that will eventually connect to downtown Crozet. A post-race Trails Fest at the finish features a pancake breakfast, live music, and Starr Hill beer, with proceeds benefiting the Crozet Trails Crew. Packet pick-up and race-day registration occur at Crozet Park, with an additional packet pick-up the Thursday before at Starr Hill. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
