Crowborough 10k & 5k
The Crowborough 10k & 5k returns for 2026 and is organised by Crowborough Runners. The event takes place on 1 November 2026 at Beacon Academy, North Beeches Road, Crowborough, East Sussex. The 10k race forms part of the Sussex Grand Prix and the 5k is a newer addition to the programme.
Both races start together on a tarmac road course that uses lanes around the town and benefits from road closures. The 10k is run over two laps and the 5k over one lap. The course is accurately measured and is known for being hilly; several accounts refer to a long hill that features on the lap(s).
Race headquarters will be located in the main hall at Beacon Academy. Parking at the venue is limited; participants are asked to use the designated car parks and follow marshal instructions, and there are no parking facilities at the finish. On the day the event provides a bespoke medal, trophies and prizes for leading runners, and cakes at the finish. Event information will be sent to registered entrants before race day.
