About the race
The Croome Capability Canter is a multi-terrain off road race around Croome Park near High Green, WR8 9DW. It is a 6.5 mile (10kish) undulating course set within parkland designed by 18th century landscape architect Lancelot "Capability" Brown. The route and format for 2026 will largely follow previous years.
The event is scheduled for Sunday 22nd November 2026. Entries are online only and will open on Thursday 1st October 2026 in the evening. There are strictly limited spaces, capped at 350 to protect the parkland, and no on the day or postal entries.
Entry fees are listed as £16 for runners affiliated to UK Athletics clubs and £18 for unaffiliated runners. All finishers will receive medals and goodie bags, and prizes will be awarded to race winners. The event is held under UKA rules with a runbritain licence, and results are published on platforms such as Power of 10 and Run Britain Rankings after the race.
Parking at the park is limited and car sharing is suggested. Participants should allow around 10 minutes to walk from registration to the start. Organisers welcome marshals and volunteers to assist at the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
