The course runs down to the Crooked River and through sections of Crooked River Forest, traversing recently cut trails with stands of tall red pines and scenic river views. The start and finish are located at the historic Scribner's Mill bridge.
The route is a lollipop loop that uses Scribners Mills Road, the Crooked River Trailhead, Intervale Trail, a winter snowshoe trail, and the Evergreen Trail before returning to the trailhead and road to the finish. A GPX file, map, and elevation profile are provided by the organizers.
