Crescent City Connection Bridge Run
The Crescent City Connection Bridge Run is an evening run and walk that crosses the Crescent City Connection Bridge between New Orleans’ West Bank and the East Bank downtown finish area. The course uses the HOV transit lane on the bridge and offers views of the Mississippi River and the downtown skyline at sunset.
Registration includes a commemorative t-shirt, a finishers medal, a timed race bib with results, access to the post-race party with live music, and free shuttle service. Children age five and under may participate without a fee but do not receive a t-shirt or race bib. Registration fees are to be announced. Team registrations of ten or more receive a stated discount.
Packet pick-up is available on specified early dates at nearby locations and on race day at the Oakwood Center parking lot; t-shirts are distributed at the post-race festival. Parking is available near the start at Oakwood Center and shuttle buses run between the East Bank finish area and the West Bank start area. Shuttle pick-up locations are noted near South Peters and Lafayette Street.
The route includes an extended uphill section and a steeper downhill section, with remaining portions described as flat. The event concludes with a post-race festival in downtown New Orleans featuring live entertainment and complimentary food and beer for participants. Awards are given in open division, masters, grandmasters, seniors, and multiple age groups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
