Creede Mountain Run

The 50K follows the main course of the 22 mile route before diverting at Oso Creek Cutoff (TR 787). Runners follow the trail to the top of Miners Creek, continue down Miners Creek (TR 803) to the Sunnyside Cutoff (FR 517), then rejoin the main course on FR 504. The route passes Bea McClure Drive and the Historic Sunnyside Chapel before entering town. 50K runners must reach Oso Creek Cutoff within 5 hours or will be directed to the 22 mile course. The 50K finish cutoff is 10 hours.
The 22 Miler departs Creede at about 8,852 feet elevation, leaves the main course at Allen's Crossing (10,500 feet) and tops out near the Continental Divide around the 11 mile mark at roughly 12,500 feet. Runners must be at Allen's Crossing within 1.5 hours to continue on the 22 mile course or they will be directed to the 12 mile course.
The 12 Miler starts in town and follows Forest Service roads through Creede's Historic Mining District. The 2 Miler runs through Downtown Creede, heads north into the canyon and turns back at the confluence of West and East Willow Creeks.
