Crazy Muley Ultra 2026

The Crazy Muley Ultra takes place in Edgerton, Alberta. It features three race formats on a unique course through a sand dune landscape.

The available distances are:

  • 50 km (Big Buck 50K)
  • 25 km (Fawn 25Kish)
  • 2-person relay over 25 km (Fawn 25kish Team)

The start and finish are located in the Sand Dune Liquor Store parking lot in Edgerton. Each course is a single loop that traverses sand dunes, using a mix of single track, trails, and roads. The first halves of the 50 km and 25 km races are shared before the courses split.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2026. There are multiple aid stations (AS) offering food and drinks, as well as water-only stations. The cutoff times to finish are 12 hours for the 50 km and 6 hours for the 25 km.

Drop bags are permitted. The event is dog-friendly for well-behaved dogs, which must be leashed at the start, finish, and aid stations. The race is cup-less, so participants must bring their own reusable container.

All finishers receive a handmade clay belt buckle and a finisher beer. Awards are given to the top three finishers in each category. Participants who register before May 1st receive swag, including a pair of Crazy Muley Goodr sunglasses and jogger sweatpants (for solo events).

Information on nearby camping is provided. The finish area is located near the Oasis Hotel, which serves food and drinks. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
