Crazy Muley Ultra 2026
Crazy Muley Ultra takes place in Edgerton, Alberta, and marks its fifth anniversary. The race starts and finishes at the Sand Dune Liquor Store parking lot in Edgerton. Each distance is a single loop; both courses share the first half before splitting into separate loops.
The route passes through sand dune complexes and combines single track, quad trails, and roads with both pavement and gravel. Runners should expect continuous rolling hills, loose sand, and little to no shade. The course is marked with Wainwright Runners pin flags.

- 50 km solo
- 25 km approx solo
- 25 km approx two person relay, change at Aid Station 1 with legs of about 16 km and 11 km
Aid and support: there are two main aid stations for the 50 km and one main aid station for the 25 km approx. Aid Station 1 is near 16 km and offers food, electrolytes, snacks and a port a potty. Aid Station 2 is reached around 27 km and 32 km and provides similar supplies. Additional water only stations are placed along each course. Drop bags are allowed and will be returned later in the day.
All finishers receive a handmade clay buckle and a finisher beer. The Oasis Hotel will be open during and after the race. The event is cup less so participants should bring a reusable cup. Dogs are permitted with leash rules at start, aid stations and finish. Camping options are listed nearby. Cutoffs are generous with 12 hours for the 50 km and 6 hours for the 25 km approx.
