About the Run
The Bison Run is organized by the Wainwright Runners club. The event offers several distances on a paved multi-use trail (Ascot and Area Recreation Trail RR#70), which runs beside the Bud Cotton Buffalo Paddock. The terrain is rolling.

Practical Information
The start and finish are located at 402 4th Ave S in Wainwright, Alberta. Participant parking is available at Davco at the same address. Strollers are permitted on the course. Participants may use personal music, and leashed dogs are allowed. Race package pick-up takes place the day before the race at Jack's Place (218 10th St, Wainwright). Pick-up is also available on-site on the morning of the event. Fruit, muffins, and bagels are provided for all participants. Official results are provided by Ellis Timing. The top three finishers in each category receive a handmade ceramic mug. A $5 discount on registration is offered to members of the Wainwright Runners club.
