Cranmore Mountain Race
Cranmore Mountain Race is an up-and-down mountain running event held at Cranmore Mountain Ski Area in North Conway, New Hampshire. The 2026 edition takes place on October 17, 2026 and introduces a one-lap option alongside the traditional two-lap race. The two-lap race is part of the USATF New England Mountain Racing Circuit and the event is USATF sanctioned.
Course surfaces include grassy ski slopes, mountain bike singletrack and gravelly mountain service roads. The course layout features an aid station located at or near the start and finish area. Hiking poles and headphones are not permitted during the race.
Prize money of $7,500 is offered for 2026. Registration fee information lists a standard fee of $50 and notes a September 10 registration deadline to receive a technical race shirt. The event has previously hosted five US Mountain Running Championships. Results archives are available for recent years including 2022 through 2025.
