CraggRunner Sprint 5k
The CraggRunner Sprint 5k is a running event scheduled for 13 June 2026 at the Steven Burke Sports Hub, Cravendale Ave, Nelson, BB9 8SJ. The course is described as flat and takes place around the cycle hub area.
Event entries open on 22 December 2025 and close on 10 June 2026. Entry fees are listed as £12 for UKA members and £14 for non members; entry on the day is available for £15 only if the race cap is not reached. The minimum age for the senior race is 15 or older. Junior races are provided for 14 year olds and under, with 15 year olds entered in the senior race.

Chip timing will be used and results will be linked to Run Britain and Power of 10. Junior races award medals to the first three boys and first three girls in each age race and have a separate presentation after the last junior race. There will be portable toilets and water available before and after races. Parking is not permitted on the Sport Hub field; participants should use nearby roads. The event is associated with Run Britain and forms part of a series of CraggRunner 5km sprint events with an available multi entry discount.
