CraftHalf Half Marathon & 5K
CraftHalf is a running event and block party held on April 3, 2027, in downtown Winston-Salem at 638 West 4th Street. The event program includes multiple timed and untimed running options and a street-level community celebration.
Distances offered include:
- Half Marathon - 13.1 Miles
- 5K Run/Walk - 3.1 Miles
- Crazy One Mile (Timed) - 1 Mile
- Crazy Kids Dash - 1/4 Mile (untimed)
- CraftDouble - timed one mile plus timed 5K
The block party closes the full block of 4th Street from Poplar to Spring Street and features live music, food, and craft beers available for purchase. Admission to the block party is free. Up to 12 breweries are listed as onsite participants. Foothills Brewing and Junction 311 Endurance Sports are listed as partners for the event.
Registration opens on April 29, 2026, with closing dates that vary by event. Posted entry fees are: Half Marathon $70, 5K $40, Crazy One Mile $20, CraftDouble $50, and Crazy Kids Dash $10. The Crazy One Mile is chip timed and includes two craft beer tickets for participants age 21 and over and a shirt while supplies last.
