CraftHalf Half Marathon & 5K
CraftHalf Half Marathon & 5K takes place April 3, 2027, at Foothills Brewpub, 638 West 4th Street in downtown Winston‑Salem, NC. The event combines multiple footraces with a city block party on 4th Street between Poplar and Spring Street, where up to twelve breweries join food vendors; admission to the block party is free and food and craft beers are available for purchase.
Race options on the same day include a half marathon, a 5K run/walk, a timed one‑mile event, a CraftDouble that pairs the one mile and 5K, and a kids dash for ages 12 and under. Registered participants receive a finisher’s medal, a gender specific performance event shirt (registration at least two weeks before the race is required to guarantee shirt and size), two craft beers, and other participant items. Kids in the Kids Dash receive a special post‑race gift.
The event is produced in partnership with Foothills Brewing and Junction 311 Endurance Sports and is part of The Race Series. The city block closure creates a focused race environment and a central site for timing, awards, and postrace activities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
