CraftHalf Half Marathon & 5K - Winston-Salem
CraftHalf is a multi-distance running event organized by Foothills Brewing and Junction 311 Endurance Sports in downtown Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The event centers on Foothills Brewpub at 638 West 4th Street and takes place in early April.
Races on the day include:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles)
- One Mile timed event
- Crazy Kids Dash open to ages 12 and under
- CraftDouble which pairs the One Mile and the 5K
The event closes the full block of 4th Street from Poplar to Spring Street for a block party. Live music accompanies the gathering and up to 12 breweries participate. Admission to the block party is free; food and craft beers are available for purchase. Registered race participants are listed as receiving a finisher's medal, a gender specific performance event tee if registered at least two weeks before the race, two craft beers, and event swag. Kids Dash finishers receive a special post race gift. The CraftHalf is noted as part of The Race Series and includes race weekend services such as packet pickup, course information, and timing and awards.
