The Cracoe Cracker Challenge 2026 is a walking and running event on Saturday 21 February 2026. The event starts and finishes at Cracoe Village Hall, Cracoe, North Yorkshire, BD23 6LQ. The 2026 route runs the South loop first.

The event is open to walkers and runners. The minimum age is 16 or older.
Practical information
Entries open 1 June 2025 and close 14 February 2026. Entries are limited to the first 125; entries so far show 121 participants. Standard entry fees are shown separately for LDWA members and non-members for each distance. On-the-day entry fees apply if the maximum is not reached.
Checkpoints include the start, which serves tea, coffee and toast, and well-stocked checkpoints at 7, 12 and 18 miles. A meal is provided at the finish. The route must be completed within 10 hours. There is a cut-off at 2.00pm at Checkpoint 2 (12 miles) for those attempting the 25-mile route; participants not through this checkpoint will be asked to retire. Grid reference SD973597 is provided for the venue. No dogs are allowed. Parking at the village hall is limited; additional parking is available on Hetton road (left side) and in the large layby on the B6265, with marshals to assist.
