About the race
Cracoe Cracker Challenge 2026 is a long-distance event in Cracoe, North Yorkshire. Participants can choose between a 25-mile or 12-mile route through the Yorkshire Dales, open to walkers and runners, starting from Cracoe Village Hall. Run by LDWA – West Yorkshire, the course features the South loop in 2026 and several checkpoints (7, 12, and 18 miles) with tea, coffee and toast at the start and a hot meal at the finish.
The walk must be completed in 10 hours, with a 2pm cut-off at the 12-mile checkpoint for the 25-mile option. Entries are limited to 125; parking is limited and dogs are not allowed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
