CrackedBell Hopkinton to Boston SUNDAY SHAKEOUT RUN
This is a free Sunday morning shakeout run held on April 18, 2027, that starts and finishes at Boston Common, 16 Charles Street, Boston, MA 02108. The run is scheduled for the morning before the main race day and is intended as a short, easy outing from the bus loading area for the trip to Hopkinton High School the next day.
The primary route is an out-and-back of approximately 2.25 miles to the Tommy Leonard Bridge on Mass Ave, which passes the 1K-to-go underpass. Participants who wish to extend the route can continue toward the Citgo sign and return for an approximate 5K distance.
Registration for the early entry period opens 2026-09-28 and closes 2027-03-31; a late registration period runs 2027-04-01 through 2027-04-17. Registration is free. Early registrants will receive a runBUCKS CrackedBell HOPKINTON to BOSTON throw-away T-shirt. Late registrants are not guaranteed a shirt; any leftover shirts may be available after the run if a registered participant does not show.
