CPD Honor Guard Cops and Cookies Run
The CPD Honor Guard Cops and Cookies Run is an annual event scheduled 09/26/2026 through 09/30/2026 at 303 West Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43215. The event combines a memorial 5K with family activities and food offerings.
Race options include:
- 5k Walk/Run - 3.1 Miles
- Kids Fun Run - 880 Yards
- Virtual - virtual participation option
- Shirt Only - registration for a race shirt only
Cookies are provided at two aid stations along the course and at the finish line. Participating bakeries named by the organizer include MCL Bakery, Resch’s Bakery, Cheryl’s Cookies, Crumbl Cookies, and Efrain’s Famous Cookies.
Public safety demonstrations and exhibits are part of the event. Listed participants include the K9 Unit, SWAT Team, Dive Team, Therapy Dogs, and the Mounted Unit, along with police vehicles such as a cruiser and, weather permitting, a helicopter.
Registration fees for the listed options are $45 for the 5K Walk/Run, $30 for the Kids Fun Run, $45 for the Virtual option, and $25 for Shirt Only. All participant packets must be picked up prior to race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
