Coyote Chase Race
The Coyote Chase Race is the 33rd annual running event held at Weatherford College in Weatherford, Texas on November 14, 2026. Proceeds from the event support Weatherford College Foundation scholarships.
The event features two course options:
- 5K
- 1 mile
Registration includes different fees for children and for older participants. Children 12 and under pay $15 for pre registration and $20 on race day. Ages 13 and over pay $25 for pre registration and $30 on race day. Packet pickup and on site registration are available the day before and on race day at the Alkek Fine Arts Building.
A school challenge awards supplies to the physical education teacher at the school with the most registered runners with prize amounts of $300 for first place, $200 for second place, and $100 for third place. Individual age category winners are recognized in both the 1 mile and 5K races.
