Event overview
The Cowdray Winter Night Run is a night-time trail run held as part of the Cowdray "Run The Seasons" series. Routes run through parkland and along the river, passing the Cowdray Ruins and returning to the Walled Garden and heritage site. The course is mostly on bridleways and footpaths, with some sections on private estate tracks that are only accessible on race day. The route is generally flat with a couple of gradual climbs. Head torches are mandatory. The course will be marked and marshalled with reflective signs, glow sticks and support from the Sussex Search & Rescue Team. Refreshments such as warming drinks, soup and snacks are available at the Cowdray Heritage Visitor Centre after the run.
