Course notes: the 5K uses the paved loop around Gulley Park and a grass loop by Apple Seeds; the 1K uses the paved gazebo loop and the grass loop by Apple Seeds. The terrain is a mix of pavement and grass, and parents are encouraged to run with their children. Race-day safety measures include directional signs, volunteers at turns, roads soft closed to traffic, a bike lead and sweep, and an aid station at the 5K halfway point. Participants are ultimately responsible for their children. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
